The idler comes fully assembled with bearings and mounting arms as pictured.
The idlers guide the track in and out of the track rollers. They intermittently support the machine's weight and provide a way to control track slack and tension of your rubber track. To increase the tension on your track you would add grease to the tensioner and this idler will adjust out to increase tension on the track. The idler attaches directly to the tensioner.
