There is one tension idler per side on you JCB track loader. The tension idler slides in from the front end of the track frame into the tensioner.
If your track is falling off on the front end of the machine then the idler wear is likely the cause. Idlers wear over time and prevent tensioners from reaching full capacity to tighten the track. A new idler can make up for several inches of slack in the track. People often think their rubber track stretches over time but it is full of steel cables. Typically the truth is the idlers are worn out and can no longer fully tension the track.
