This skid steer tire is the 36x14-20 solid type flat proof skid steer replacement tire that replaces the original pneumatic 14x17.5 tire size. These are mounted to a wheel and ready to install. Do not waste time taking the tire in to have it mounted or patched, choose a solid tire that is flat-proof instead. With this pre-mounted tire and rim assembly you can remove your tires and install these new tires in the field without a call to the tire repair shop. Save the service fee and install these tires yourself. They are directional for aggressive traction. They are solid to prevent a flat tire, but also cushioned for operator comfort and additional traction with the given flexibility. This is a proven tire you can rely on. Why are the cushion holes in tires? Again, our focus is high quality and safety when it comes to tires so the cushion holes provide several key features that the rigorous construction industry has come to expect. The holes in the tires absorb some of the impact from the rough terrain and that helps reduce operator fatigue and it also helps prevent spillage of the contents in the bucket. If you are spilling dirt out of your bucket, or dropping bricks off of a pallet fork on the jobsite then you are losing efficiency. Solid skid steer tires help prevent flats and blow outs but at a cost of flexibility and impact absorption. The cushion holes help restore some of the flexibility and absorb some of the impact that an air tire would typically provide.

Pneumatic tires provide a cheap option for tires in general use, however jobsites are known to have debris and many conditions that can be considered unsafe for cheap tires. We believe that down time is costly and solid tires typically eliminate tire-related down time. In certain situations a pneumatic air tire can de-mount or separate from the rim and if you are carrying a load that can create a safety concern.
